Other Works

I have always enjoyed art in all it's forms including but not limited to drawing, painting and dramatic arts. Below are some of my own artistic attempts.

Chain Lake (oil on canvas)

This is a painting that I did in a session of painting with my Daughter.

She also painted her own version as we watched and learned from Bob Ross on his "Joy of Painting" television program.

Red Autumn (acrylic on canvas)

This is a painting I decided to do a few year ago in the fall after seeing a stand of very red trees on a drive. It ultimately became one of a set of similar paintings

Winters Bones (acrylic on canvas)

This is a canvas that was influenced by the painting to the left. After I did the red trees my wife suggested she wanted one to match our decor.

I then created this painting and a few others in a seasonal motif. (This is currently hanging in our living room.)

Rise (graphite on paper)

I was working on shading and trying to make the facial features come 'out' of the page.

Religion (Pencil)

This is my attempt at coping the style of the 'Mona Lisa'. LOL I like the hair :)

Squinting (Pencil)

Just a girl squinting. I liked the way her mouth twisted and tried to replicate that movement.
