Allan Fisher was born in Scarborough, Ontario, in 1967, the fourth child of James and Greta Mary Eve. James was a factory worker, and Greta was a court stenographer and later a High School librarian. 

Allan attended George Peck Public Grammar School, then W.A. Porter High School, graduating in 1988. 

 

At the age of 9 he was diagnosed with ADHD and Dyslexia making his school years difficult.

Due to his trouble with handwriting his mother taught Allan to touch type and pressured his teachers to allow him to hand in typed rather than written assignments with some success.

A short story Allan wrote in Grade Five was lauded by his teacher as exceptional and inspired him to dream of becoming an Author. 

 

In 1995 Allan married his High School sweetheart Nancy and began working in the communications industry. Three children, two girls and a boy, soon followed.

Through the 1990's Allan worked on an as-yet unreleased novel with the working title "The Guardian".  

 

In 2016 he joined the literary website Wattpad.com and found a group of writers similar to himself. On the website Allan has authored over 25 original stories. He works in numerous genre's including Horror, Science Fiction, Adventure, Fan Fiction, Poetry and Television Scripts.

Allan is currently retired and living with his family and a multitude of pets in Mississauga Ontario. He continues to write and self publish novels and short stories.
