My Book Collection
Stephen King
I collect mostly Horror Novels and some Science Fiction. Mainly I am looking for Stephen King First Editions.
I don't collect for monetary value but to have these wonderful Novels and 'Rescue' them from being destroyed. As such, most of my books come from thrift shops. The books below were all purchased at thrift stores for, on average, under $6 each.

Top two are not First editions. I wanted a copy of Desperation and I like the Trade Paperback of The Green Mile. Mr. Mercedes might be a first edition Mass Market paperback
but I'm not sure as it is in French. LOL

These Anne Rice novels were mostly purchased new. A few jackets missing. All First Editions except Lasher which I got from a thrift store for $1.99. ​It is a book Club version but still excellent quality. Tale of the Body Thief - 5th edition thrift store rescue

Jean M. Auel's Earths Children series is wonderful. I was introduced to these by my mum back when they first came out. None of the paperbacks are first editions but the Hardcover which I just found at a thrift store is and only cost $6.
As I said the paperbacks are not first editions but the Plains of Passage paperback does have a uniqueness as the embossing is miss-aligned. I'm not sure if this has adds (or subtracks) any value but it is interesting. see below
I grew up with these Twilight: Where Darkness Begins novels. Read all of them in my first year of high school. Currently looking but no luck so far. Below is an image from the internet. I also have memories of 'A Stranger with my Face' by Lois Duncan. Lois also wrote 'I know what you did last summer' which became a movie franchise. So I am looking for this as well but only in the below form, I don't like the other editions. (I repaired the cover image as I could only find a very rough version)

I found a copy of Magic Fire by Christopher Pike at the Thrift Store for $1.99. Grabbed it as I loved these teen horror novels back in the day. Crazy but Thriftbooks.com is listing it for $97. I would be willing to part with it for that ;)
